As a Dispatcher, you will oversee the daily schedule by assigning jobs to technicians, providing office-side support to technicians, and communicating with customers about when they can expect their technician to arrive for their appointment. You will also frequently communicate with Customer Service Representatives to keep the schedule full, and report to management on the schedule daily.
Job Responsibilities
- Keeping each technician’s schedule full every day
- Evaluating jobs as they come in to assign the right job to the right technician
- Meet daily revenue and sold hour goals by prioritizing the most urgent and profitable calls
- Relay accurate information to technicians
- Manage whereabouts and needs of every technician in the field
- Respond to customer issues and accommodate their schedules as much as possible
- Participate in regular training
- Update customers throughout the day on the technician’s progress
- Good typist and proficient with phone systems
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment

- Inspect the effectiveness and safety of current customers HVAC system
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing customers ventilation, air conditioning systems, and equipment
- Diagnosing HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects.
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
- Maintaining a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Participate in all technical training
- Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
- Identifying customer’s needs
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Managing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
- Performing repairs and maintenance
- Participate in a technical training
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
- Supporting team members and peers to achieve KPIs
- Answer and manage all incoming calls and emails
- Generate sales leads
- Provide accurate and valid information for the customers
- Handle questions, complaints, and returns and find appropriate solutions quickly
- Keep records of customer interaction and process received files.
- Follow communication procedures and policies.
- Think, answer, and respond quickly to resolve customer issues and questions about products and services
- Retain a polite and professional voice and manner at all times
